Location: Spring Lane Road, ¼ mile off Route 15 at the north end of Dillsburg.

Zoning: Conditional Use Approval has been granted for 266 townhomes to be developed on the property.

Comments: Unless you’ve been living under a rock, we all know builders and developers do not have the appetite to purchase large projects at this time. By the same token, townhomes seem to be where affordability in the marketplace is headed. This project should be ready about the time the rebound is back in full swing. The location is ideal. Since there is nothing comparable in this marketplace like it, competition is non-existent. Knowing that we understand the economic conditions, we are willing to work with the right organization to make this a real winner. I know some of you prefer mixed used developments. This property would have had approximately 170 single-family units as its Use By Right. So I think we could probably go back for some sort of mixed used configuration.
